3 Ways to Eat Well When Crazy Busy

It happens constantly..

You’re pressed for time because you have 10 million things to do. You’re forced to make bad choices with your food because you don’t have the time or the energy to make something healthy.

Here are three ways to eat well even when you’re crazy busy.

1. DOWNLOAD ZOMATO

If you’re going to opt for a takeaway, download the ZOMATO APP. This app will give you information to enable you to make healthier choices.

Top tip: if you are a fan of Thai food, it’s a great takeaway option. Dishes are often loaded with veggies, and the fat in coconut milk burns three times faster than regular fat – lots of flavour, minimal guilt!

2. LEAN GREENS

If you can’t find/take healthy foods with you, LEAN GREENS, offer a compact, portable way to get the nutrients you need on the go.  Each serving contains up to 3 portions of veg, along with berries and other assorted nutrients.

Try to go fresh whenever you can but if you can’t, this is a great alternative to help you in a pinch.

3. ORDER EVERYTHING “ON THE SIDE”

I often tell clients to act ‘more like Sally’ (you need to watch the movie ‘When Harry met Sally’ to know what I mean).
Sally was considered high maintenance because she always ordered everything on the side – sauces, dressings etc. But Sally had the right idea – by ordering sauces on the side you can control how much sauce you consume. Sauces are notorious for containing stealth carbohydrates, so by keeping those little devils on the side you put yourself in a better position to monitor your intake.
